Impacting the broader community is always our goal
Today, our buddies took us to the elementary school so we can share a fun project with the younger kids! They were very much excited to see us!
After our projects, the kids invited us to play some traditional Thai games that were extremely fun!
Home visits
Visiting our buddy’s homes was impactful. At school, they seemed just like us - we had similar clothes, they had phones, backpacks, almost everything was similar.
When we went behind the scenes and visited their homes, we got a much fuller picture of the challenges they face and how difficult life can be in Elephant town and how difficult it can be to grab opportunities that always seem out of reach
